Tabitha is the owner and operator of Howling Bay Kennel, a family-owned small tour company that offers sled dog and Northern Lights tours. We specialize in traditional, old-world style dogs—the big, friendly, fluffy kind! Our unique location, situated north of Fairbanks, Alaska, provides an excellent opportunity to see the Northern Lights. If clouds obstruct the view, we will chase clearer weather to ensure you have the best experience possible.
We truly appreciate the time and effort you take to visit us, and we are dedicated to making your experience memorable.

“Highly recommend as a must-do when visiting Fairbanks in the winter. The host was very knowledgeable and intent that our sledding adventure was a fun one, despite wind-chills forecast as -40 to -50. We already had lots of winter gear on, but she gave us some additional gear to ensure we were warm during our sled run. It was a lot of fun. I am so glad we were able to experience this. Location is about 30 minutes outside of town but even in winter, an easy drive. ”
